was initiated in may 2014 and started functioning as a standard laboratory on 11 january 2020. it was a pioneering initiative in the field of automated diagnostics in the health sector in bangladesh.

A total of six people including founder member and entrepreneur Md Anowar Hossain and managing director Md Hanif Iqbal, Md Imran Hossain, Md Delowar Hossain, Abdullah Al Noman Chowdhury and Md Sohal Rana established the institution with the objective of providing a modern health care for the Manikchari community. After the tragic period of liberation war and being an area far from the city, it was very difficult and expensive for the community to get good treatment. So this organization started to meet the medical needs as much as possible.

The beginning of this institution was very difficult. Initially, the organization was supposed to be in front of the Upazila Health Complex, but due to various complications, it finally started the journey next to the Mahamuni bus station of the upazila. Violent attitudes of some communities were a hindrance to progress at Lakshmi Memorial and subsequently had to deal with the impact of Covid-19 which also forced the institution to operate at annual losses. Currently we ensure 80% medical facilities in this medically neglected society of ours.

Today, after working for a few years, I am happy to think that we have not only met the medical needs of the society, but also played an important role in leading the modern medical services.
